Michigan Approved Mace Brand Pepper Spray

Another regulation that is unique to Michigan is that every bottle of pepper spray must contain no more than 35 grams, roughly the equivalent to 1 ounce.
All pepper spray in Michigan must meet the exact requirements stipulated by the state. Any other mixture of the spray is strictly prohibited. Another rule that governs the use of Michigan approved pepper spray is that it can only be legally used against someone who is attempting to assault you. This law is standard all across the United States. It is always a crime to use any pepper spray or other defense weapon against an innocent person. That would be considered assault, and will place you in the category of criminal instead of victim.
